MJ Lake is an independent singer-songwriter and musician based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. He plays a versatile blend of rock, folk, and Americana music, leaning heavily into raw, authentic storytelling. His signature acoustic-driven sound draws inspiration from classic American icons like Neil Young, Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, and Jason Isbell. MJ has released four albums along with several singles & ep’s. Recently he has recorded another full length album entitled Gas Station Town that is set to be released fall of 2026. MJ loves playing live both solo & with his band The Provocative Troubadours.
